How long to wait until you change your Monroe piercing?

The reason they tell you to wait so long is that it helps with infection and prevents the swelling from attacking your piercing. If it bothers you that much,I would wait for the swelling to go ALL THE WAY down and the change it. When you do this make sure you clean it more often and be cautious to any abnormal healing.
