I'm building a Titanic model made out of cardboard. How to put lights and also propeller and rudder?

Depending on the size of the model, you could just put holes in the model and a light or two inside to shine through or you could use plastic fiber optic strands to lead light to points needing it or use low voltage LED's. The mount the propellers and rudders you will probably need to glue wood blocks in the right places so you can drill holes to run the shafts and pivot rods in place.
