Can anyone tell me if there is a relationship between fractals and multi-propeller string theory?

I'm a layman, but one with a better than average grasp of abstract concepts. This question is totally serious. It seems to me that there must be a connection, even though only fractals can be depicted visually and multi-propeller string theory is pure math. Seems to be parallels, but beyond my understanding thus far. Can someone help?
