I want to build an airplane. I need a fast propeller to get me off of the ground. Is there a fan that fast?

I would like to build my own airplane. It would just fit me, and I would like it to be made out of wood. Could I modify my fan in my room that keeps me cool at night? Or is there one out there fast enough to get me off of the ground and flying? Thanks!
