Aviation enthusiasts,help me out?

A couple years ago fairly often I would see a plane go by that was shaped like the letter Y,it had a propeller in between the wings facing the opposite direction that most prop planes have. It was painted black. I haven't seen one again in a very long time. I hope someone here can tell me what it might of been,I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance guys.
