Could a modified nuclear submarine survive in space?

Modifications involve a hull strengthened with titanium, to repel radiation more easily, more efficient oxygen recyclers, and, obviously, it's propeller replaced with rocket and ion engines. And a skeleton crew to keep supplies lasting longer.
